Confirmation Class

The sacrament of Confirmation is an adult reaffirmation and commitment to the promises made on our behalf by our parents and godparents at the time of our baptism. In anticipation of the upcoming visit by Bishop John Taylor on September 8, Trinity is offering two preparation classes (July 14 and 21) for those wishing to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church (or, if you've been confirmed in another Christian tradition, you can choose to be received) by Bishop Little.

Classes are open to all adults, and to youth in 7th grade and above. The classes will focus on the "Five Questions" contained in the baptismal vows, which articulate the key commitments we strive to live out as followers of Jesus Christ. Classes will be held in Trinity's Guild Hall, with snacks and beverages provided.

If you attended the Episcopal 101 sessions this past October, and had articulated a desire to be confirmed/received, please plan to attend these preparation classes. (If you're hoping to learn more about the particulars of the Episcopal faith tradition, another round of Episcopal 101 will be offered September 15, 22, 29, and October 6.)

Register here. For questions or additional information, please contact the Rev. Elizabeth Molitors, emolitors@trinitysb.org.
