The Fireside Room has a new look!

The Building and Grounds Committee has overseen the vestry-approved remodel of the second-floor meeting space. Parishioners are encouraged to visit the room upstairs in the parish building. The attractive space will be used for meetings and small church events and be available to the community on a rental basis.

Special thanks are extended to parishioners who generously donated to the Fireside Room Fund in recent years, as well as donors to the former Bride’s Room Fund which the vestry decided to combine with the Fireside Room Fund. Additional funding for the project came from earnings from Trinity’s Looking Beyond Ourselves endowment fund. Thanks also to parishioner Joe Matthews and his firm, Architectural Millwork, who generously provided new wall paneling to cover the old, built-in shelving units. Thanks to Carlos Ruano for preparing the space by refinishing the floors and painting the walls. Thanks also to parishioner Frank Pennino who donated the framed, antique, illuminated music sheets on parchment that adorn the walls. Additional thanks to Steve Singleton and Christopher Teasley for their design work and overall management of the project.
