Trinity Staff Announcement
We are delighted to announce that Mary Ann Paxton has joined the Trinity staff as our Front Office Administrator effective Wednesday, March 23.
Mary Ann is known to many of you through her work with the brothers of Mt. Calvary as the Guest House Director and Office Administrator. Before the monastery, Mary Ann spent 10 years at La Casa de Maria as their Conference and Programs Coordinator. Welcome Mary Ann!
Above and Beyond
I’m delighted to announce that not only has the budget gap been closed, but you have gone Above and Beyond! As of March 20, Trinity has received Second Ask contributions and pledges totaling $45,000.
The Episcopal Church’s Humanitarian Response to the Crisis in Ukraine
By donating online to the Ukraine Crisis Response Fund, you will help meet critical needs for people fleeing the violence including food, cash, blankets and hygiene supplies. Checks may be made payable to Episcopal Relief & Development and mailed to: PO Box 7058, Merrifield, VA 22116-7058
Help Close the Budget Gap
I hope you’ll consider joining this Second Ask effort. If you’ve already made a pledge for 2022, I invite you to consider whether you can extend yourself just a little bit more. Or perhaps you can make a one-time gift of a particular dollar amount? Any amount —EVERY amount—makes a difference.

Update from the Rector
We’ve decided to postpone the Annual Meeting by two weeks. The Annual Meeting, originally scheduled for this Sunday, February 6 will instead take place Sunday, February 20, 2022. On that day, we will have one service at 9:30am (in person in the sanctuary and live streamed), followed by the Annual Meeting.
Trinity in Diaspora - The Sequel
In keeping with the values we have honored throughout the COVID pandemic - of respecting science and loving one another by enacting protective measures to eliminate or slow disease transmission - we have decided to pause in-person worship services at Trinity for one month. Beginning with the service to celebrate The Feast of the Epiphany on January 6, and continuing through February 6 (Annual Meeting Sunday), we will be offering online (Zoom) worship only.
Christmas Letter from the Rector
One of the highlights for me in the Advent and Christmas season is the presentation of the story of the birth of Jesus by the children of Trinity on Christmas Eve.
Trinity Announces Music Director
"I am beyond delighted to announce to you that the open position is going to be filled by Thomas Joyce, our current Minister of Keyboard Music. Tom’s new title will be Director of Music. Tom will continue to share his talents as a magnificent keyboard player and collaborate with the clergy in planning liturgy, while also taking on the role of leading the choir and congregation in song." - The Rev. Elizabeth Molitors, Rector
"Recently, through further discernment, I have discovered that, this position presents a golden opportunity for me to carry out my full vocation as a church musician, and I believe that I could fulfill both sets of duties (organist + choir director) with excellence.” - Thomas Joyce, Music Director
